Installation walkthrough

Install and connect the plugin

Follow the CCX installation, account connection, subtitle generation, and SRT import from start to finish.

Installation

From download to your first SRT

Download Premiere Plugin
  1. STEP 01

    Download the plugin

    Use the download button and keep the API key shown with it.

  2. STEP 02

    Open the CCX

    Double-click the downloaded .ccx file to open Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop.

  3. STEP 03

    Approve installation

    Review Adobe’s prompt and install Desi Subtitles.

  4. STEP 04

    Restart Premiere Pro

    Close and reopen Premiere Pro after installation finishes.

  5. STEP 05

    Open the panel

    Choose Window → UXP Plugins → Desi Subtitles.

  6. STEP 06

    Connect your account

    Paste your Desi Subtitles API key into the plugin and save it.

    Create or manage API keys
  7. STEP 07

    Choose your audio

    Select a WAV, MP3, M4A, or another supported audio export.

  8. STEP 08

    Generate and import

    Choose the subtitle language, generate the SRT, and add it to your sequence.

The CCX does not open

Open or update Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop, then double-click the CCX again.

The plugin does not appear

Confirm Premiere Pro 25.6.0 or newer is installed, then restart Premiere Pro.

The account will not connect

Paste the complete ds_… key from step 06 and make sure your account has available audio minutes.

The SRT is not on the timeline

Drag the imported SRT from the Project panel onto your sequence.
